Changed from 3DA-C to 3DA-T!

I ride the new Sienta HYBRID G White Pearl.
The cruise control of pivot is attached to the new Sienta. Last time, I attached a Toyota genuine (Rashi) cruise control switch.

The title of this page has become [anguish edition], but please rest assured.
In the end, the 3DA-T and cruise control switches worked together!

However, I had a lot of trouble getting to normal operation, so I tried to express the degree of the hardship by the number of photos.
It will be completed next time.

Comparison of 3DA-C and 3DA-T

From pivot, cruise control that can be operated with Toyota's genuine cruise control switch, 3DA-T Because it came out, I bought it immediately.

The box of 3DA-T is almost the same as 3DA-C.

I feel that only the label has been replaced.

What's in the bag is like this. A simple tester is also included (I have never used it).

I think the cruise control controller in pivot is probably the same as 3DA-C.

And this is the main feature of this time, the harness to take the signal of the Toyota genuine cruise control switch.
However, only one harness has a connector to attach to the cruise control body of pivot.
That said, the contents of the pivot cruise control body, so that you can determine the signal of the Toyota genuine cruise control switch, I think that the improvement has been in!

The left side is 3DA-T and the right side is the 3DA-C that i have been attached to until now. When removing the 3DA-C, the surface of this box is also wrapped with vinyl tape. The dirt came off when I peeled off.

The backside. In this picture, the connector on the left is black when it reaches 3DA-T. The number of pins on the connector has also changed from two to three.

There seems to be no change in the harness side which receives the signal from the car. If there is a change here, I'll be in trouble.

I tried to attach a harness to connect to the cruise control switch! This is Toyota genuine (? By connecting with the cruise control switch, You should be able to run with the cruise control switch!

This pivot 3DA-T Surprisingly, the final part was needed here.

Removing the cover under the handle

First, you need to touch the connector to remove the cruise control signal, so remove the cover under the handle.

There are screws on the right side, left side, and the lower side, so cut the handle and remove the screw head.

Remove the left side as well.

One under the handle.

The cover came off when I pushed it down while holding down the area of this red circle.

When you remove the cover, you can see the desired connector.

This center black connector becomes a connector that can take the signal of the cruise control switch.

Installation of the signal removal harness of genuine cruise control

From here, attach the harness to the connector.

On the connector side, even if there is a corresponding place originally, Since there is no metal fittings connected to the pin, it is necessary to put this terminal 025III-TF(T) in the connector.
When I searched the internet for 025III-TF(T), there was a place where I sold it quite well even by mail order. I bought it here.
It arrived in a few days.

I put it on the palm of my hand. It is frighteningly small.

Now, I'll remove the black connector in the center and try to install the terminal.

When you pull out the connector, it has become such a feeling, such as a precision screwdriver, the red arrow portion of the connector side, You need to pull out about 0.5mm in the direction of the red arrow (the red arrow part does not stick out at first).
If you don't put this out, no matter how much you try to push in the terminals you're adding this time, I won't go inside.

The thinnest harness in the hand-held harness was connected to the connector terminal 025III-TF(T). Because it is fine, it is also difficult to connect the harness and the terminal firmly.
Also, the entrance of the connector to put this terminal is very narrow, because it is unexpectedly deep, The harness was too thick, so I cut it with a cutter to make the harness thinner. Now I'm getting in somehow.

Now that you're ready, try putting the terminal in the connector. The place to put, as in this picture, It becomes the leftmost side of the lower side.

It was hard to put in, but somehow it was good and entered to the end.
If you prepare a thin harness originally, the harness is thick, there may not be a hard time that it does not enter easily .

It is such a feeling when seeing from the front side of the connector. The part of the red circle was in a state of nothing because there was no terminal originally, Because the terminal enters well, it looks like other terminals properly. This is going to be definitely connected.

While the terminal was added to the connector, I tried to insert the connector back. Although it is a little suspicious, it is a thing that there is no problem in the functional.

I also attached a giboshi, and connected it with the main body side of 3DA-T! Now, does this work?!

Cruise control itself does not work

Immediately, turn on the sienta without the engine.

The controller on the 3DA-T has the letter "nor". So far is normal.

However, even if you move the cruise control switch attached to the steering wheel side, the reaction pear.
By any chance, can't you get the signal of the cruise control switch in the first place in Sienta?!

However, there seems to be a person who actually takes the signal by using the cruise control switch in the Sienta hybrid, That's not it.

Was it bad that I bought a no-brand cruise control switch with money?!
There is a possibility, but let's calm down a little.

First, let's make sure the 3DA-T is working properly, regardless of the cruise control switch.

In the 3DA-C that I had been wearing so far, when I pressed the "set button" in the middle of the cruise control controller, it worked with cruise control. I tried running with the same haz in this 3DA-T. It is a haz that operates at more than 40 kilometers, but it

Even if you press the set button, the reaction
pear is completely

Come on, calm down! You haven't done the initial setup for cruise control yet.
The instructions also say that you can't operate cruise control unless the initial setup is completed properly!
That's it.

I try the initial setting firmly, but still the reaction pear orz at all to the set button

No matter how many times you try the default settings again, it's the same.
By the way, slocon is working fine.

By any chance, 3DA-T does not work with Sienta Hybrid?!

Such a worst situation crossed the head.
That's right. The 3DA-T compatible model does not include the sienta.

Or, I thought that there was not much, but 3DA-C (which was working properly) that I had attached so far,
Has the 3DA-T with cruise control switch changed any major specifications?
Anyway, it doesn't start with the set button on the cruise control controller that is directly connected to the cruise control that doesn't work.
It was a problem before The Toyota genuine cruise control switch worked.

But
... Because it has become a little long, I will send [solution edition] next time!
