I want to use the power of Enefarm

I built a new building in August 2015 and attached Enefarm with sunlight.
The configuration of solar power generation and Enefarm is like this.
The thing that I always think will come in the cold season is that the speed of making hot water for Ene Farm, It will not catch up with the speed of using real hot water ....

I think that it is because there is a case that we use floor heating of gas, especially gas, but as the temperature falls below 20 degrees, By the time of the bath slightly, it will come out that the hot water does not accumulate enough.

Since I feel that the amount of electricity used during our period when we do not use the cooler is about 0.3 to 0.5 kWh, Enefarm still has enough resources (Enefarm can generate up to 0.7 kWh).
Always, I thought "This is a waste, ..."



Use the battery you bought for camping!

How can I strengthen Enefarm 's power? ... I tried thinking a lot, but the best thing indeed is, "Use the electricity made with the power of Enefarm during the day, when the ene farm is not running at night" I think. If you can do this, it's really ideal.


However, storing electricity is not very easy, is not it? There are various devices that store electricity of several kWh, I still have hundreds of thousands of yen.
I thought that it was kind of a bit to spend that money there, By the way, there was a battery in my house. I can not go as far as 1 kWh, but you can store a battery that can hold 0.4 kWh, I bought it for use in camping and in the car.

Using this, when the day Enefarm is running and charging, after stopping Enefarm at night, I use the electricity I had stored. By doing so, I got a bit of hot water, It will be power saving a little at night.


How to utilize our battery

① Charging in the daytime
When Enefarm is running, it starts charging the battery which is almost empty.
The power consumption during charging is about 70 W (0.07 kW). Since this lasts for several hours, if the power consumption of the house in the daytime is 0.4 kW, for example, It is said that it will be in a state of raising to 0.47 kW, so it seems that it is contributing a little to the hot water of Enefarm.


② Consumption from battery at night
After stopping Ene Farm at night, I turned on the power supply of household appliances that I wear all day, such as recorder for video recording, wifi router, I tried to take it from this battery.
About 50 W to 80 W is consumed, so do not have this battery until morning, It is just a nice feeling.
Because it is video and wifi, even the worst battery exhaustion is not a big problem.


How much advantage do you have with this ...
Although it is a 0.4 kWh battery, it is 9 kWh per month as estimating a little less and using electricity from a 0.3 kWh battery one day.
0.3 kWh x 30 days = 9 kWh


Calculating 1 kWh by 25 yen if ...
9 kWh x 25 yen = 225 yen

Because it is various simple calculations, I think that there are plenty of tsukkomi, but I think that it will be a guide.


If you buy a battery only for this use, the profitability does not match a bit (^ _ ^;)
If you intend to make effective use of something originally, I think that such an operation method is also good.
Even a little profit is quite happy (* ^ ▽ ^ *)

Batteries are not useless even if they are not used, so I think that we will make effective use more and more.
