100kw quick charge which increased little by little

I am riding the new Nissan Leaf G (ze1) white / blue two-tone.
I went to Nissan's global headquarters in Yokohama where I live.

Why went to Nissan's global headquarters ...
There is a 100kw quick charger there!

When you charge quickly, you can see how much power is being charged with the meter on the leaf.
Nissan dealers are good at 45kw, usually around 40kw.
The output of the charging gradually decreases as the charging approaches 70% and 80%, approaching full charge.

I always think that I should be a little faster ... (^_^;)

Near Yokohama Station I came to Nissan Global Headquarters because there are two 100kw chargers.
One was not available, but one seems to be working properly.

It stands out clearly different from the Nissan quick chargers you always see.
Looks like it ’s high output.
But if it grows so big, I can't put it in a normal place ...? (~ _ ~;)

Try charging immediately.
When you take the charging plug, it is extremely heavy.
I think that the charging cable is much thicker than the usual 50kw charger cable.

Because the cable is thick, plugging in the leaf plug requires a little effort.
Is it too heavy for women? I felt that weight.

In the coming era, I think that the output of fast charging will go up and down, but at 100kw, this is the feeling of heavy equipment.
What will happen in the future even though 200kw and 300kw are visible right now?

Tesla's Supercharger V3 can be charged at 250kw, but it doesn't look like heavy equipment.
Is the CHAdeMO standard too strict?

With a 40kw battery leaf, 100kw power cannot be supplied.

As for the controller when starting charging, the familiar familiar controller was a little on the left side.
This is exactly the same as usual, authenticating with a ZESP2 card and charging started smoothly.

↓ Charger screen before charging starts.
The remaining time is 30 minutes and the battery level of the connected car can be checked.

At first, when I looked at it, I thought that this meter shows how much power is being charged.

↓ When I started charging, the battery level of my leaf was displayed.
The number below the meter is still zero.

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens from here.
Return to the leaf and check how much power is charged with kw.

... 45kw.
After all, if it is not an e + leaf, it will not output more than 45kw.
If you don't get 90kw, maybe 50kw? (^ _ ^;)

After all, it seems that 45kw was the limit for the new version of the new leaf.

When the charging actually started, the numerical value started to be displayed under the meter of the charger.
Charging time, voltage (V), current (A), charged capacity? (KWh) seemed to be displayed.

Expect more than 100kw and more!

My ordinary leaf could only be charged with 45kw output, but I was very impressed with the 100kw charger.

As of August 2019, it seems that there are several Chademo 100kw fast chargers in Japan.

In this way, if the number of high-output chargers increases, the spread of EVs may progress.
This 100kw quick charger seems to be expensive because it looks.
Will you put it on a general store other than a Nissan dealer or on the highway?
Honestly, I don't feel like putting it (-_-;)

In order to be practical, I need about 250kw output like Tesla's Supercharger V3 I feel like.
If you can run 100 km or 200 km with a charge of 5 or 10 minutes, no one will complain.

I get on an EV every day, but after all it takes 30 minutes to charge, and if the charger isn't available, I have to wait for it or find another.

I think there is no problem if you can take a leisurely trip when your child is already nestled and not crowded.
But when you go on a trip with a child, there are many scenes where you have to rush into a crowded place, such as Saturdays, Sundays, and summer vacations, because of your school.

There are still a lot of EV issues. It was a 100kw quick charger that made me think variously (^ _ ^;)
