There are 45 regular chargers, but some are empty as EVs

New Nissan Leaf G (ze1) I am riding a white / blue two-tone.
On weekends, I often go to World Porters (shopping mall) in Yokohama with my family.
Today, we decided to take advantage of the large parking lot under the Pacifico Yokohama (a large public facility in Yokohama) near the World Porters.

There,
There are 45 ordinary chargers! ?

In the Minato Mirai Public Parking B1F B / C block, the normal charging line is lined up.
Is it a sign that Yokohama is recommending an EV?

Actually, when you go to the B1F floor in Pacifico Yokohama, there are certainly 45 regular chargers.
There are many places where ordinary cars with internal combustion engines, not EVs or PHEVs, are parked (・ _ ・;
I feel a little disappointed, but at this stage, there are not so many EVs and PHEVs yet, so it can't be helped ...

In the first place, this parking lot is crowded, so it is not possible to leave 45 parking spaces empty because EVs do not come.

Still, the space where normal charging can be used was the same as I saw, and about 10 were taken.
If the number of EVs used increases, I think it will surely expand the space dedicated to EVs.

One thing that I thought was troublesome before charging was the pylon in front of the EV parking space.
This is to prevent vehicles other than the EV from accidentally entering, but the rods connecting the pylons are also more carefully attached.
After doing this one by one, put in the car and put it back when you leave. That's a little trouble.
Maybe just a pylon? I thought.

Just plug in the 200V plug. But the code doesn't stretch

I put the pylon in front of the EV space and the stick connecting it, and put the leaf in the back.

The reef's charging port is located at the front, but the usual charger has a cord extending on a reel or it's long in the first place. I thought ...
But when I thought about charging, I took the plug and tried to extend the cord ...
That doesn't stretch? !

Apparently, about 2m of cord is something that cannot be extracted.
In other words, the leaf has to be pushed into the parking space from the front.

It's harder to enter the parking lot from the front than from the back, so it's surprisingly hard.
But since we have come this far, the only way to do this is to replace the leaf once.

It was time not to come too many cars, so I managed to insert a leaf from the front.
Now you can start charging.
All you have to do is plug in the leaf.

Is parking space small, not narrow, normal?
It is easy for children to get on and off by stopping at the space next to the pillar.

200V charging here is charged. You can use leaf ZEPS2 card

200V charging in shopping malls is usually free for up to 1 hour, but public parking here is charged.
It looks interesting, like nanaco or something.

Check the instructions on the charger.
The bottleneck is that the procedure here depends on the charger.

1. Connect the connector.
2. 2. Remember the number and go to the charge controller. (Return) Please unplug the connector and return to the charger.

So that's it.
You remember the number, go to the charge controller, and start charging.
If you make a mistake in the number, it will be quite disappointing, so you have to be careful (・ _ ・;

So, where is the important “charge controller”?
I don't know where it is because there is no indication like "Charge controller is here".
Then, the charge controller stood quietly right here, just opposite the charging space.

Don't you have to make it a little more noticeable? (・ ・;)
With so much charging space, it's hard to tell where the single charge controller is.
In this extraordinarily large parking lot, this small charge controller ...
Once you know this, it's still easy to find, but you don't know at first what charge controller is located.

It's like potun.

The operation of the charge controller is the same as at a Nissan dealer!

I managed to get to the charge controller.
Now, fight with the charge controller!
(Because the operation method is different for each charge controller, too)

Come on, come on! ! Looking at the charge controller with enthusiasm ...

Uh, this is ...
Isn't it the usual guy that Nissan dealers often use!

If you have a Nissan ZESP card, just hold the card and authenticate as usual.

Charging has started successfully!
This time, I will return in about 3 hours, so I set it in 3 hours.

With this much charger,
"Because charging is over, we have to be quiet soon!"

It is good that it does not mean that.

I got out of a nearby elevator

Huge parking lot of this huge facility.
You have to make sure how you go out and how you come back again.
It's a big problem for me as a directionally deaf person (・ _ ・;

Go to the nearby elevator while working hard to remember the place.
If you go to the first floor as it is ...
I was out right away!

There is no problem walking from here to the World Porters.
(World Porters is the opposite direction of this photo)

This time, a series of flows up to charging.
Once you know it, isn't it so difficult?
From now on, when the number of EVs and PHEVs will increase and the 45 regular chargers will rotate at full speed next year? Is it next year?

If the number of facilities equipped with such EV facilities is increased, it will be a fun EV life.
