Is charging just before departure efficient?

New Nissan Leaf G (ze1) I am riding a white / blue two-tone every day.
For an electric vehicle that charges at home, it is becoming commonplace to be able to charge the timer if the plug is left in place.

Reef is a pioneer in EVs, and it's all right!
EV-related menus are organized in “EV settings”.

You can register two types of timer charging.
There are only two types, but I use only one because it can be set repeatedly.

You can decide the start time, end time, and on what day you want to charge.
After all, the electricity stored in the battery gradually decreases, so is it most efficient to charge it right before leaving? I always charge it in the morning.

I'm on the reef almost every day, so I haven't noticed any spontaneous discharge of the battery, but like a smartphone, it's gradually decreasing.

Lock the charging connector.

When charging the reef at home, is the charging code of the reef annoying?
That means.

If you set the leaf to be unplugged while charging, you will be able to carry the charging cord normally.
EV charging cords are surprisingly expensive, so even if they are just mischievous, if they are taken, it will be quite damaging.

If you are in a garage and have a shutter, you don't have to worry about that, but you can't easily have a parking lot.

After all, the setting method starts from "EV setting".

Select "Charge Connector Lock".
For some reason, it's a bit strange that Japanese and English are mixed slightly, but is it based on English?

If it is set to "AUTO", it will come off when it is fully charged, so this doesn't make sense for home charging.
I make it "LOCK" firmly.
Now, without the key on the leaf, the power plug will not be pulled out.
One relief.

If the nighttime electricity rate is low, this "timer charge" will work even more, but TEPCO does not seem to have any plans to lower the electricity at nighttime, so unfortunately there is no advantage as a price.

One day, Nissan, like Mitsubishi, would be very happy if they could charge at night and have an unlimited plan .
I look forward to the future of EVs.
